There is so much happening in our world! There are noticeable changes taking place in our economy and everything seems to be in an upheaval and yes, we can definitely expect more to come!
Let’s talk about it!
As many of you know I am a Woman of Faith, so I’m not one to be deterred by just what I see and I choose to put my hope, faith, and trust in the promises of God and what He’s promised the believers in His word. It is perfectly okay if you are apart of my community and you believe differently, but my hope is that in someway you are inspired with hope and lifted in your spirits from the perspective in which I share with you today.
Many people are facing hardship during this time and are in need. Many businesses are facing dilemmas, looking for answers, searching for solutions on how to operate and remain open during these unprecedented times.Â
Are the solutions to some of the problems we are facing today hanging in the balance?
Are they hanging in the balance because they are on the inside of you?
Many of you who are reading this today have a solution or solutions to some of the problems we are experiencing today, but for whatever reason you may have been stagnate, deterred, discouraged or altogether quit in the building process.
I truly can understand being overtaken by what the world is currently facing or feeling the market is oversaturated, or perhaps facing situations that just consume all of your time. You may think your business or idea is just a small thing to this world. However, as we can clearly see, we are at a time in which we need all hands on deck! Â We as people have more power together than we ever could realize.
At the beginning of this month prior to my Birthday, I took the opportunity to shut in a bit and take all that was on my heart and mind to the Lord in prayer. Here is what I learned and am learning….
1. Many of us don’t think we could possibly be “idle”, because we’re busy right? But read this… The definition of idle is “without purpose or effect; pointless”.  I then looked up the definition of the word PURPOSE,  “the reason for which something is done or CREATED or for which something exists”.
We were all created for something special, and it doesn’t matter what we are currently doing to occupy our time, It could possibly be considered idle if we are not operating in purpose or what we were created for.Â
2. In the midst of the hardship going on in our world, we still have the power to make a difference. So during this time I have shared resources with hopes to meet a need. Often times we may feel we don’t have much to give, but the little bit you do have will make all the difference in the world to someone who needs it.
3. In such an unimaginable time, it’s hard to consider not making a profit, though if you are a business owner and have a service that can be offered to someone who’s in a tight spot during this time, my hope is that you would consider being an answered prayer. There is a Kingdom principle noted in 2 Corinthians 9:6, “ Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously”. The reward received may not always be a material one. I’ve lived long enough to know that during any part of our lives, a need will one day arise. The question then to be asked is, “Will you be an answer”?
4. For those of you who have not yet started the business, the non-profit organization, the charity, or whatever it is that only YOU KNOW, that you’ve been putting off and putting off because you’ve believed the small lies whispering to you that you can’t or you don’t have enough, it’s too late, the market is saturated, there is no room, etc., etc., It’s time to RISE UP and BUILD! RIGHT NOW, during this time and during this season! Yes in the most obscure season –  now is the time to GO!
Friends, THIS IS NOT THE TIME TO BE IDLE!
WORK IN PURPOSE, GIVE, SOW, & BUILD and you won’t be disappointed!
Rise UP and BUILD!
