Let’s Make it Simple: It’s time for a TIME OUT!

I don’t know about you, but I found myself in a time period where things seemed to be more toilsome than they should be. As a result, I put myself in a TIME OUT to discover why? This is something that I do quite often and to answer your question, yes family, life and business adjust to this “time out” quite well!

In life many people find themselves married to the hard things that keep them in repetitive cycles of being bogged down with obligations as opposed to purpose and fulfillment. Is this you? Are you the person who never stops to take a TIME OUT, just to sit with your life and examine the trajectory?

Well, if you are, let me be the one to tell you that you are well deserving of a TIME OUT to realign yourself with what’s important; and rediscover how to live and operate in Life and Business (your purposed work) with ease!

Let me give you a few pointers on how to take a TIME OUT:

  1. Carve out space and time for solitude: Take a few days, a week or however long you need and are able to take a break from all the day to day activities that you normally do. If you have to request a day or two off from work, use your much needed vacation hours, PTO hours, or whatever kind of paid leave you can spare, do so. Take those days to engage in nothing but solitude and spending time with you and your thoughts. Think about where you are, where you want to be, and all the obstacles that are keeping you from getting there. Think about all the things that have your life cluttered, and the ways you need to rid of those things. While you are in this space write down every single honest thing that comes to mind. When you come out of this space, don’t ever look back to where you were before taking a TIME OUT!
  2. Develop A Plan: Now that you have gathered the true intel because you’ve actually had time to sit down with your life, write down everything that entered your mind on how to move forward from where you are. Once you have written those things down, make them your season goals and give yourself until the end of the season to accomplish those goals in order to transform your life.
  3. Restructure: Here is the most difficult part! You now have to restructure. You cannot go back to old habits. When you come out of TIME OUT you have to operate totally different. Hopefully in your time of solitude you have identified every person, situation, obligation and so forth that kept you bound in the place that you were. Now is the time to restructure your house (your life). It’s now time to implement boundaries, change your scenery and surroundings, implement structure, increase discipline, and make self-care a priority! Whatever has been been lacking, now is the time to fill it.
  4. Move Forward: Finally it’s time to move forward with ease! It’s very important that you are never convinced out of your process! Avoid the snare of setback!

Use Your Summer Wisely! This is a very sensitive time in the year! We are still at a midway point, Turn it around in your favor!

As always,

Praying the Best For Your Life, Business & Success!
