I want to discuss a new Life Principle with you today, and I believe it will help you shift and gain perspective coming into the New Year! December is a very important month!
Life Principle: Learn to respond to your seasons in a way that will allow you to thrive in your environment.
Maybe like myself many of you were not introduced to the importance of planning & preparation until later in life. I didn’t learn these principles until experiencing life that included marriage with children. Children meaning plural, so yes this means more than one, and as you can imagine, I was literally being tossed to and fro, landing no where in the middle of balance!
I was exhausted and unfulfilled, desiring something more with no plan, blueprint, or direction on how to get to where I was desiring to go in my business, while trying to make sure my family and marriage weren’t compromised. This can be a very frustrating place to be when you are embarking on uncharted territory and trying to build a vision you’ve never seen anyone else construct.
Navigating the process of building the vision you desire for your Life & Business requires a blueprint and strategy that will allow you to align with the success you desire to obtain. This is easier to say than do for most of us because we battle with managing time.Your time is a very valuable component of your Life, and if you don’t use it wisely, you will find yourself being robbed of it, and later experience regret for things that you didn’t make the time to do. Learning how to use your time wisely while navigating the times and seasons of Life can be difficult to do. It was for me and once I learned how to do this, I have been compelled to share my secret ever since.
I want to take a minute to share with you the importance of you taking time this month in December to really reflect on the things you want to pursue catered towards your purpose. Often times we don’t understand the impact of leaving things incomplete or not finished. Leaving something incomplete impedes on the progress of everyone connected to you and the ones coming behind you.
Now let’s discuss real briefly how not completing things affects us personally. First, it leaves a nagging weight lying around that you carry throughout life in the form of thoughts and imagination about how things could have turned out for you if x,y, and z DID or DID NOT happen. I have often seen the spirit of jealousy plague the lives of those who are having to watch others do what they wouldn’t make room and time in their life to do and it pains them to see someone else flourishing.This doesn’t have to be the case, but the outcome is always predicated on the decision to pick up one’s purpose and pursue in spite of the obstacles presented.
If you are someone like me who is a pioneer and became an entrepreneur without an example, it’s easy to make every excuse to let it go and just do what is considered easy. However, this is not fulfilling, easy isn’t apart of your purpose and easy in reality is just another way of settling.
If you are a person allowing the uncertainty of the climate of our world to convince you that this is not the time to pursue your purpose, I urge you to challenge that narrative. Many people are looking for solutions and your idea may be the answer as a result of many of the transitions that are taking place in the world today. Entrepreneurship is not a cookie cutter concept, but the common foundation that all entrepreneurs need is a system of structure to work their ideas into fruition.
There are basic principles that you can apply in each season of your life that will move you forward and break consistent cycles of delay. When you understand and work these principles efficiently in your life, you will find yourself seeing the fruition of the things that you have been anticipating.
