Hi Friends!
We are rapidly approaching the New Year! We should do so with the expectation of much anticipated change. As a consultant, I find myself year after year sounding the alarm for people to move on what they have been sitting on year after year! However this year I feel an extreme urgency to encourage people to MOVE on their goals, visions, and ideas they’ve put off.
Your ideas are not just random thoughts, they are apart of your purpose. When you have the right motive and intention behind your pursuits you have to know they are a solution for someone who needs what you have. What do I mean by this? Anytime the ideas that you have are to serve someone without the motive of just making money. It’s going to make a difference, provide a solution to a need, improve a service, enhance a life, etc. Your idea is going to make a difference, but it will slowly dissipate if you don’t put action and urgency to it. Let me explain something really quick.
As people we can do a lot of things because we are gifted and talented individuals. However, if the things that you are doing don’t give you a sense of purpose you may want to re-examine what you are doing. The Blueprint in life for many of us has been to make a decent living. In translation that means, do what you need to do to get a good job, so that you can live comfortably. This model works for some, but not for everyone. It leaves many unfulfilled and full or regret because their purpose and heart was connected to something else, but they were paralyzed by fear believing they wouldn’t be able to support their family or themselves by doing it. I have learned in the course of my journey that it is better to take a leap of faith and just DO IT! Of course you have to apply strategy to what you are doing, and you have to be willing to develop a structure for your Life that will enable you to do so, but trust me it can be done. Often times we shrink at really stepping into our own business or moving on our ideas because we depend on the support of other people. You have to remember, YOUR IDEAS and YOUR PURPOSE are yours to pursue and people will believe in it once they see that you do. And then even if they don’t, you have to decide if their unbelief will scream louder than your faith.
I am so thankful for my journey and process because I wouldn’t be able to show up in your inbox to encourage and inspire you to move forward on something if I hadn’t done it myself. Don’t miss your opportunity to have balanced success in Life & Business! You have one life to pursue it. You may be making money, but are you doing something you love and that is apart of your God-given purpose on this earth? I want you to take time to think about this before this month is out, and if the answer is NO, I want you to make the decision to restructure your life, your time, and all of your efforts so that you can PICK UP YOUR PURPOSE & PURSUE! The profit will follow. Don’t waste what is valuable!
